I stopped breastfeeding my 14mnth old two weeks ago now, I was only feeding for approx five mins at bedtime for the last few weeks, but my boobs are aching..is this normal? and how long will it go on for. Cannot even bear clothes touching them! Never mind a cuddly baby

Perhaps one to get checked out by GP, just to be on the safe side, rule out infection etc?
I felt sort of 'heavy' after stopping feeding [10mo with each of two dses, 17mo DD] and had to stay in maternity bras, sort of working my way back down the ones that i'd had during pg as my boobs increased size. This took a good few weeks. The heavy/achy feeling went under my arms slightly last time too, but fortunately didnt last. (neither did the nice-sized boobs, unfortunately)
