I have been trying to planning to wean my ds on and off for a while now but was really forced into action as I need to leave them with dh and go away for 4 days to give an exam in 2 weeks. from him feeding 2-3 times a night (comfort feeding) plus falling asleep nap and bed time on the breast to today when it has been 48 hours since I last fed him. I am so happy it was done with a minimum of fuss but a little sad too close this chapter too.
no responses needed I just wanted to post as I only lasted 5 days of bf with ds1 and this time had been completely different as ds2 never touched a bottle. either way it worked and both my ds are happy and healthy kids.
