My son is 2 weeks old and since he was around 4 days old he has been a very difficult baby... Screaming at night, eating constantly due & a nightmare to burp/wind. Urgent Care advised us he has reflux as he was spitting up yellow but never did anything. A health visitor mentioned colic so I've spent 2 weeks in tears watching my son struggle.
Today my partner went to the pharmacy and they gave him infant Gaviscon and I can honestly say he's a different child.
Before anyone says you need to phone a GP/get it prescribed we did speak to the pharmacist about it & I will be phoning the GP to get it put on his record he's taking it but I'm putting this in here to see if anyone else has similar stories... Did they notice any side effects etc?
