Slurping whilst breast feeding - advice appreciated

My 7 week old slurps most of the time that she is feeding, but particularly whilst on the right breast. It seems really inefficient and she does take in quite a bit of air. Even if she starts quietly, after a very short while it seems as though she has slipped or something. Should I be worried? She seems to be putting on weight well.

I breast fed for a year with my first and didn't experience this problem. I'd really appreciate any advice. Thank you

slurping is sometimes a sign of oversupply or fast letdown. you can find good info on this on kellymom using these words in the search feature.

DS slurped a lot when small, and I def had oversupply issues. If she's gaining weight and you're not having probs with colic, I wouldn't have thought there were any massive problems apart from the noise (makes feeding in public interesting 0. Have a look at the kellymom site, some useful stuff on there.
