when i bf in public.

I'm a confident public bf'er or at least i was until very recently. Have just started to feel a bit uncomfortable as baby now getting quite big and interested in the world which makes discreet feeding much trickier.

Am now thinking i'll just have to nip to very pro bf cafes to do a feed when out and about or baby rooms. Makes me a bit sad really as am beginning to feel that people are looking at me as though i'm doing something a little odd/wrong.

When did others start feeling a bit awkward or is it just me being silly?

I started to feel quite awkward once ds got to that feed for 2 mins then pull away and look around stage. Luckily for me once ds started weaning he dropped his feeds to 3 during the day which meant I could normally get out and about without needing to feed whilst out, or I could fob him off with some finger food.

Hopefully now your dc is getting bigger needing to feed whilst out will get less and less.
