Four-month-old on small formula feeds, is this normal?

My baby girl is 4 months old (second child) we’re exclusively formula feeding. She’s still only on 4oz bottles and most of the time she doesn’t even finish them, probably leaves around 20-30ml and on occasion she can leave around 50ml.
We use mam bottles, size 1 teat, I have tried a size 2 and she dribbles so much and can’t keep up with the flow! She weighs 12lb 14oz, she was a tiny baby when born (5lbs 10). I feel so defeated by how little milk she can take a day. My first born was literally a milk monster and she is the complete opposite and I’m starting to wonder is this normal? She has 6-7 bottles a day, wakes once in the night for a feed which she nearly always does finish. Because she takes so little for her age I offer her a feed every 2.5-3 hours.

any tips to help? Or has anyone else got a little one that’s still on small bottles?

Feeding every 3 hours is still quite normal for this age. She’s put on weight, is she following her percentile?

if so, I’d say this is fine and she’s taking what she needs. Her stomach will be tiny and babies are supposed to take small feeds very often.

I think if she’s bright and alert at times and is following her centile then this is fine. Some babies do just like a little and often

And just saying that DGS 1 was huge and over 100th centile ..ie off the chart..(still is.) 3.5 yrs and wearing 5-6 clothes. an absolute food junkie.
DGS2 is pootling along under 50th centile and meh about food. Both same weight at birth..

She does seem to be following her curve, happy and alert when awake an we do see plenty of wet heavy nappies. We are currently going through the 4m sleep regression (send help lol) in which she is demanding more food during the night so tbh she has been doing very well with bottles since I posted this! Typical 🤣 thank you ❤️
