Does anybody have instructions for the mini medela pump

please? I have been lent one (going to give in and try it i think!!) but would feel happier if i had instructions to guide me!

Also, is it ok to just wash it in v hot water rather than sterilise, or does it need sterilising?

Thanks ladies

I had one.
It was easier to deal with than an Isis handpump. Can't remember exactly how it was but i worked it out and am useless at suff like that.
I used to give the parts a quick boil in a saucepan but someone recently on MN cited research from fiel of microbiology saying sterilising not always necessary.d

Thanks, have posted on July expecting thread, hopefully someone will see it!

I have thought about a handpump too - but you wouldn't reccommend Moondog?

I used the mini medela pump. Have you tried their website? Perhaps the instructions are online?

I used to sterlise the parts that came into contact with the milk but after a while I gave up and put them in the dishwasher instead.

I found the sound of the motor helped my DS drift off to sleep when he was upset, so mine got quite a bit of use.

Happy pumping!

I have one don't have instructions though it's pretty straight forward though. If I was expressing during the day I didn't sterilise after every go, I used to wrap it in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge then at the end of the day stick it in the dishwasher. You can sterilise it though, the bottle part and the funnel part only.

There are a few of us have them on the July thread maybe someone will have instructions.

I'm about to use mine for the third time never used a hand pump but the Medula has been great.
