now I see that they are trying to tell us that their breast pump is more comfortable on your breasts

but it strikes me there are two meanings of comfortable

and "feel comfortable breastfeeding FOR LONGER" makes me think what they are actually saying is "don't stop breastfeeding although your child is getting OLD now and people will point and stare, because you can express milk and give it in a bottle and no-one will know"

or is it just me?

I dunno - but have you really only got two weeks to go???

now that really does read, to me, "be comfortable about the whole idea of breastfeeding an older child"

Yeah, that line irks. But only coz i know the marketing ploy is to prey on the insecurities of b/feeding when in fact, we should be trying to get rid of the reasons behind the insecurites.

If they got rid of the insecurities behind bf-ing they wouldn't sell nearly as much though!

I don't think large expensive advertising campaigns contain extraneous words
I think they weigh the effect of every word very carefully

It's difficult to interpret it in another way, so it's the only logical conclusion I reckon.
