do you need to boil water for a 8month yr old?

I'd like to give my 8 month dd a cup of water with her dinner but don't know if it needs to be cooled boiled water?

Tap to cup is fine.

At 8 mths old they are already crawling around and putting all sorts into their mouths, picking up dust and fluff on their hands etc (plenty in my house btw), it would seem a bit pointless to then boil their water imo.
