is anyone a bf counsellor with nct? or ante/post natal class leader?

been looking at their training course and am v interested, but if i m going to spend that long training i really need to use it to get a job! what are chances of getting paid employment after their training course? am happy to do some volunteering but thought i could volunteer with nhs if nct will turn out to be all voluntary. does that sound selfish? hope it doesnt

Most NCT breastfeeding counsellor work is voluntary, milknosugar, but there are opportunities to earn some money - but it would not permit you to rack up enough hours to earn anything like the same as doing a job.

The majority of NCT bfcs have other jobs.

Antenatal teachers can earn more as all their teaching is paid. PN leaders are paid, too, but on the whole do fewer hours as there are fewer classes, but it does vary.
