Since the weekend whenever I've put Tink on the left it really hurts. It's that kind of bruised feeling that happens after they've bitten you, but I don't remember her biting me that hard to have caused it to hurt so much. There's no lump there, which I've had before when she's bitten me, no discolouration or anything out of the ordinary.

I'm getting reluctant to use that side but even at this age and only one or two feeds a day I still get full if I've only used one side for awhile or she's been out for a couple of days.

Maybe you have a blocked duct if she is feeding less and you are gettung full?

I have the same - both breasts hurting but the right much worse than the left. No idea what it can be, so will watch for any suggestions with interest.

It can be a pressure bruise - DD used to nurse sometimes very hard and you don't notice at the time but your nipple goes slightly darker and hurts.

I got some Mothers Mates at Boots - they are gel filled pads, you put them in the fridge, then in your bra. The mothercare fanny pads for postnatal soreness do the same thing I believe. Wear them for a few hours and it really helps.

She's fed more, if anything, that's just why I wouldn't cut back.

I find it funny that I get this far without too much problems then it starts after 18 months lol. She fell asleep a few months ago and bit me (I've done it myself where I've fallen asleep and bit my tongue) I had a very painful lump on the base of my nipple where it meets the areola for a couple of weeks. Poor thing, I was asleep too, I jumped and went to put my finger in her mouth, it was only when she screamed I realised it was actually her eye! She bruised up quite nicely...

I haven't noticed any change in colour. I will have a look for some of those when I can get to the shop.
