BFing in public in France?

WE are about to go on holiday to France it it just occured to me that I have no idea how people feel about BFing in public there. Does anybody know?
I am feeding DS3 so am reasonably adept with my technique, using big shirts, scarf etc as cover-ups.
Any advice much appreciated, thanks.

There was a similar thread a few days ago. General consensus was you'll be fine.

I go over there regularly to see mm and dad and breastfed in public all the time. Didn't have any problems at all, even in most resturants, though I didn't wap my baps out completely there...

I can't see a problem, especially if you are discrete.I was at a lunch party on Sunday and sitting in the garden in a largish circle when I realised that the woman next to me was bf, we were a mixed group who didn't know each other well and I doubt whether some of them even knew. I though it was lovely that she stayed and joined in the conversation at the same time and didn't feel she had to withdraw into the house.I can't see it being any different in France.

IME no-one noticed or cared. Also on Brittany Ferries the staff appeared with water when I nursed my toddler on the ferry (for me obv.)
