help before make her ill !!!! reheating breastmilk yes or no way

Just warmed previously expressed breast milk as we have to go to doctors, but dd has woke so l am feeding her from boob, thinking l can use the oh so precious hindmilk tonight, my question is...can l reheat breastmilk? should l put it back in fridge till tonight then pull it out to reheat it?

Hi Chilbeth, if i was you then no I wouldnt reheat breadt milk. You are not meant to reheat formular but i know alot of people that do, so i guess breast milk is the same. Im no breast feeding expert here so please correct me if im worong but i homestly wouldnt! Why dont you call your midwife, she will tell you for sure. Good luck x

Here it says it can be reheated once but not to keep reheating it. Unlike formula, breast milk contains antibacterial agents so the same ruleson't apply.
