Is being a breast feeding counsellor a full time job?

The BF counsellors who work for the NCT etc, is that a full time job, or do they only do part time/volunteer hours?

From what I understand of any NCT voluntary position is that you do it when you can and fit it around your life.

I called a general health advice line once and it was a woman at home with her 2 kids who took calls over a few hours per day.

I expect its the same with BF councelling. Is there a Chair in your NCT who can clarify for you?

very much doubt that there would be enough funds in a branch to cover a full time salary for this. Part time that fits in with family is more likely
