Morning, calling all cmpa/dairy free chold parents out there please.

Were currently on alpro soya milk growing up. But the formulation has changed. with reductions in iodine, iron, and fat content, and an increase in protein and a decrease in salt.

So, I was looking for other alternatives. Can anyone please advise? With images if possible please as there is so many different varieties.

Thanks ☺️

As you can see its quite different amounts between the 2. The milk itself is quite thin as well now.

How old is your LO @NeyNey2021?

My daughter has cmpa, soya and other allergies. She has oatly barista recommended by her dietitian.
She has a multivitamin with iron and iodine in. She's allergic to beef so we are limited for iron. She regularly has porridge for breakfast and the dietician recommended added some ready brek to the porridge as that is fortified.

I use pea milk for my 2yo. This was recommended by the health visitor. We have the Mighty brand - orange carton.
It's quite nice tasting and not green 🤣 - made from split peas

I don’t blame her for not likely the oat based ones. Apart from the foods I’m actively allergic to, like dairy, there is very little I won’t eat but I really aren’t fond of oat milks to the point that I’m beginning to think I might be non-Ige to oats as well as milk.

Tbh I agree with her too! Leaves a funny taste in my mouth 😆 almost tastes like watery cold porridge 😆

There definitely are some very watery oat milks out there! My daughter will only drink oatly barista! She's allergic to dairy, soya, pea protein and coconut so would be pretty scuppered if she didn't. The barista is a lot creamier than a lot for the other oat milks but definitely get the aversion to oat milks!
