I stopped breastfeeding my 11 month old DD at the weekend.

I was only feeding her morning and night, she had water or watered down fruit juice in the day, as she has always refused to drink milk from a bottle or cup.

I assumed once I stopped breastfeeding she would automatically increase water intake and start drinking milk from a cup.

But she hasn't .
She not drinking very much at all, just a few sips of water at meal and snack times and no milk at all (she still totally refusing this).

She has milk on her cereal in the morning and sometimes in food, but she doesn't like being spoonfed and can't spoonfeed herself yet so even things like yoghurt are difficult.
I tend to mainly give her finger foods.

I'm soooo worried she's not getting enough fluids / milk

Please reassure me that babies won't starve / thirst themselves, and she'll be ok

She won't starve. She won't die of thirst. She'll be fine.

Well, mine is, and she lives on a sparrow's sip of water and no milk.
