Just wanted to ask if anyone has had problems with Avent bottles leaking, and managed to solve it, or is there a brand of bottle that doesn't do this (as much)? They're proving to be (at times) messier than the wee one. Would really appreciate any input, thanks.

Asda bottles with any wide neck teat (or even the asda own ones). About £1.50 each.

TheBlonde · 17/05/2008 23:45

are you sure you are pulling the teat through properly?

suggested solutions

1dilemma · 17/05/2008 23:46

Yes

I think we just had to pull the teat in very well and screw it on quite tightly

will try and remember

1dilemma · 17/05/2008 23:47

were you looking to move away?
we had a bleugh day dcs are really very wingey ATM when they are all together it's a nightmare as soon as one is out of the room silence descends

TheBlonde · 17/05/2008 23:50

1dilemma · 17/05/2008 23:52

Is all well on job front then? I thought you'd shelved that plan.

Bit of a dreary day can't imagine Heaver would look good in this weather

TheBlonde · 17/05/2008 23:53

alas no job news yet
couldn't resist viewing a potential project though

1dilemma · 17/05/2008 23:55

about potential project, I'm quietly amazed at the number of 90 yr olds living in these big houses round here.

1dilemma · 17/05/2008 23:55

Did it have a bathroom?

counting sorry for hijack too

TheBlonde · 17/05/2008 23:57

needs full rewire, plumb, heating, new bathrooms, new kitchen
knock a couple of walls down
new rear extension
new staircase!

TheBlonde · 17/05/2008 23:58

I will send you a link to the pics!

1dilemma · 18/05/2008 00:00

countingtoten · 18/05/2008 00:05

maybe you are screwing too hard

mymblemummy · 18/05/2008 01:00

Countingtoten, I hate, hate, hate Avent and Breastflow bottles because of the leaks.

I've found the most reliable to be Dr Brown's, though on occasion I've forgotten to take the white inner lid out before giving the bottle and ended up with a very miffed, furiously and fruitlessly sucking baby.
