Cluster feeding?

I have a 5w old DD and I’ve been told about cluster feeding but I’m finding that she doesn’t seem to settle with me unless I feed her whereas she will go to my DH and settle/drift to sleep with him at the same time so she couldn’t really have been hungry. I know it’s not always about food and can just be for comfort but that’s still the only comfort she’s seeking from me.
I've been told its not possible to overfeed when breastfeeding but it feels like I’m doing something like I’m just giving in and keep resorting to offering the breast to settle her when he seems to do it just fine without (obviously he doesn’t have the breast to offer).
Has anyone experienced this and it’s just normal or any advice if it’s not normal?

I think it's fairly normal as she can probably smell you and associate you with feeding or smell the breast milk. Does she settle eventually when full or continue to be fussy? I don't think you're giving in by giving her the breast she's still very little she will become more distracted in time when she's more aware of her surroundings

@Kaleidoscopic101 Thanks a lot for the reply. She does settle eventually and fall asleep but sometimes it takes quite a while and she almost seems to fight the sleep just as she’s drifting off so that she can return to the breast but I’m feeling practically empty! Then hubby comes along and she just settled within 5 minutes. I’m glad it seems normal though!
