Zoe Williams mentioned it today in the gruniad. (briefly)

PuppyMonkey · 16/05/2008 14:10

Our local paper has done something. I'm not a bfer so can't comment on whether it's ok!

I really liked that article. Its a no brainer it does make them smaller and less pert but she makes it clear THAT SHE DOESN'T CARE. I see my saggy tits a like I do my c-section scar proof of what i have achieved as a mother. Floppy and proud is what i say

Indith · 16/05/2008 15:35

I've not seen anything about it apart from on here. Though I must admit I am now more focused on wanting to know who spends all that time poaching chicken in wine and making tomato sauce, cooking the (baby ) pasta etc! Ds is having a medley of our leftovers tonight!

Quite nice to have an article saying that you never regret it but it bloody well does change your norks though.

milkgoddessmakesthefinestmilk · 16/05/2008 15:42

it does not make them smaller or floppier.
pregnacy does that!

Indith · 16/05/2008 15:43

But once you stop feeding you are all empty and floppy and have to build up the fat again don't you?

milkgoddessmakesthefinestmilk · 16/05/2008 15:47

love to see the thread

Indith · 16/05/2008 15:58

general consensus here is that pg technically causes the sagging by getting you ready to make milk but that you sag after stopping feeding.

milkgoddessmakesthefinestmilk · 16/05/2008 15:58

ill take a look indith thanks.

OP posts:
Indith · 16/05/2008 16:00

Of course my solution to the sagging problem has been to get pg again but I expect I won't be able to use that forever!

I am in my local paper talking about how poor help made me fail at BF and how a group of us are trying to set up a baby cafe to make sure other mums have support. It was quite a good article but I can't link as my picture and name are in it (even if spelled incorrectly, gr!)

theAfkaUrbanDryad · 16/05/2008 21:15

Well I was photographed (along with about 20 other mothers) on Monday on the steps of the Church Conference centre by the Express, Times and Grauniad.

AFAIK not one of them has run the story.

StealthPolarBear · 16/05/2008 21:18

indith......................
[s hock]

StealthPolarBear · 16/05/2008 21:19

I'm so shocked I can't spell shock
and a bit of ginger cake has just fallen out of my mouth (never mind, DS will eat it tomorrow)

CONGRATULATIONS!

blueshoes · 16/05/2008 22:05

Is it national bf-ing week? The only thing bf-ing related I saw this week is the Aptamil follow on milk commercial on TV.

milkgoddessmakesthefinestmilk · 16/05/2008 22:42

good ol nell, what a girl, she makes her living from her looks, and is v pro bf.
bet she doesnt think it makes your norks sag

OP posts:
NoBiggy · 16/05/2008 22:47

Ooh the controversy!

We love it here

If you look at the circus clip on the same page, I went there last night

Indith · 17/05/2008 10:38

stealth

Ginger cake...yum. Vennel's have started doing ginger cake.....

I think part of my problem is that I don't out weight on. Ever. I just lose it, which makes it bloody hard to replenish the fat! Wouldn't not bf for the world though, they'll get back to normal eventually, just have to keep eating cake for the next 10 years

StealthPolarBear · 17/05/2008 11:00

When are you due? So excited!

Indith · 17/05/2008 11:12

Around Christmas again, I'll never learn!

kiskideesameanoldmother · 17/05/2008 11:16

how are you feeling, indith? did someone mention vennels?

Indith · 17/05/2008 11:21

Lol

Actually I have been getting tempted by the toasted teacakes in the Alms Houses recently, they go well with revision.

Run down mostly Kiskidee, looking forward to a week on Thursday (last exam). How about you?

Anyone want to eat cake a week on Saturday? (get me and my raucous post exam plans )

StealthPolarBear · 17/05/2008 11:34

sounds good to me
good luck with your exams
