Breastfeeding awareness week - anyone ding anything?

Is anyone on here doing anything to promote BF during breastfeeding awareness week? I am in the Manchester area and would be more than happy to give my support/do something to promote BF awareness!

Didin't even realise it was this wk. I'll be feeding dc wherever she's hungry as usual!

Think it's week commencing 12th May...

Ah. Maybe there's some stuff listed on the mn local about events that are,well,local. Off to have a look. I would love to do something to help promote it.

no i was just thinking, i am bf-ing at the moment, it's very much "on my radar", but other than an event I know my local group are having I've seen nothing at all!

Should we do something then!!?

Praps there could be a bf picnic in the park (which park depending where you live obv). See if the local papers would be interested in a few pics?

I only know me who is bf-ing amongst my group of local friends !!

But the group I go to is in a town a wee bit away, I'm sure they'll be sending in pics of their event.

Think I will bring it up at BF support grp tomorrow.
