Did your breasts look very different after breastfeeding?

I'm still feeding DD3 so not sure what they'll look like afterwards but after feeding DD1 and DD2 I didn't look in the mirror and thing 'oh, what the hell have I done to my lovely boobs'. They looked exactly the same to me. They have changed since I was a teen sure but still look ok for a 36 yr old size 14 woman.

How about you?

Mine are the same as before after feeding two dc's, one for 10 months and one for 2 years.

have been pregnant and/or bf-ing for 4 years and my boobs are saggy and pathetic... lord knows how bad they'll be when i actually stop.

not breastfeeding that wrecked mine though, twas pregnacy. i broke my ribs a couple of years before having dd and i find after the 3rd or 4th month i can't have anything at all constricting my chest or i'm in agony... even a bra that's too loose is painful so i had to go braless through both pregs..... my poor boobs are not happy girls since that

would help if i could fugure out what the hell bra size i am... i seem to get a differant measurment each time i measure and have tried various sizes and they're all wrong on me.

God, you two are so lucky. I bf'd one baby for 14 months. Went from a pre-preg A to a G cup (yikes) so now my formerly perky pointers are more like chubby pancakes. They're bigger, though, which is a small consolation.

Was discussing it with a friend after watching the 'embarrassing body problem' programme. I said that breastfeeding didn't change everyone's boobs but programme seemed to say the opposite. was interested in you guys and whgat you thought, or was true of you.

while breastfeeding they were either very full or very empty. My nipples are harder now than before, i guess months of being chewed on does that.

I've just read that link, hunker, and I say it's bollocks. My tits have definitely changed as a direct result of bfing, but if I could turn back time, would I bf again? Hell, yeah. There's more to life than perky booswams.

Yes, they were like child's empty socks.

Much better now though.. five years on from several solid years of BF. Not droopy even though I'm old (36) and a bit larger than they used to be as well. (Probably because I'm fatter than I used to be but still..)

Hunker - am around on Monday's. DD2 started nursery - drop her off at 12.45 and pick her up 2 hours later. Can we get together?

Yes - since she mentioned it in her reply I do realise! However her piece was based on a survey done by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, so, strictly speaking, I've insulted their research, not HM's.

But HM, I am sorry if I've upset you, I absolutely didn't mean to do so. However I know from my experience that my bazoongas ballooned during BF and stayed there until I stopped, after which they took on the delightfully attractive look of two brown pillowcases. So whatever the ASPS says, I'm not convinced.
