Hi,
I am currently day 5 post partum.
I stupidly took lemsip last night as I was so run down. And have noticed my supply has severely dropped today!!! Have only been able to express an ounce trying all morning.
I stupidly didn't check if I could take lemsip and just took it.

Does anyone have any tips to remedy this?? Really upset!

Feed your baby on the breast (not expressing) lots, and have lovely skin to skin cuddles with them. It’s the baby feeding directly on the breast that will stimulate more supply.
If you’re in the UK, the volunteers on the national breastfeeding support phone line may be able to offer further advice. Or if budget will stretch, speak to a certified lactation consultant as soon as you can.
Don’t beat yourself up now - you won’t be the first or last to make this mistake x

Drink as much water as you comfortably can and more important: don't worry - nothing to worrry about!

I could never express more than a few drops, it doesn't necessarily mean your supply is down. Feed directly from the breast is the best way to keep your supply up.
