Oversupply and engorgement

I think I have an oversupply and my breasts are so engorged!
with my first I pumped a load off and started fresh when my milk came in but this hasn’t seemed to help. I fed my first for a year and never had any issues! Baby’s latch is good, she’s feeding little and often and seems to be getting full quite quickly and will fall asleep on the boob after 5/10 mins 😫 but I know she’s having enough because she’s only lost 5% of her weight and is weeing and pooing a lot. How do I get her to feed for longer or stop myself producing so much milk 🙈 breasts are so painful and I want to avoid getting mastitis. Any help appreciated 😊😊

How old is DD?

My breasts got engorged more often with my second than with my first.

Only hand express enough to relieve the pressure. Don't pump it all as it could stimulate you to make more, Cabbage leaves (seriously). And massage your milk ducts towards the nipple when you're in the shower.

La Leche League has some good resources.

She’s only 4 days bless her, she was born on the 19th. I’ve found it so much easier so far latching really well not painful at all, but now my milks in wow! Yeah it’s more painful underneath and the sides, I’m going to try a hot shower and massage some of it off. Lush thank you I’ll have a look

Hand express for comfort at this stage in a few days it should ease off. You breasts are just getting ready for when baby will need more milk from you.
