TT prep machine, descale light stays on

the descale light on our TT prep machine came on so we followed the instructions and run the descale with white vinegar, then two cleaning cycles.

however the descale light still remains on though? It’s a solid light.

anyone with experience of what this is and how we can get the light to turn off? We’ve got a new filter in there.

The descale light should go off right after it’s finished the descale, before you run the cleaning ones.

I’d probably descale it again, it maybe didn’t get it all

We’ve done two descale cycles now, so maybe third time lucky?

We’ve also got a new filter on our water so the water going in is much softer that it used to
be, so there can’t be that much build up

Oh no! I’d contact TT, it might be broken.

I had two and used them for a year for my twins and the descale light only came on once that whole time, and I live in a hard water area! So I’d think it’s possibly a fault.
