I joined a breasfeeding group eventually when my little one was 3 months. One of my friends thought it was a yuk idea which I was suprised at.I explained that it was just a playgroup except it was made comfortable for breastfeeding and you could have lunch there and cup of something. If u looked like u needed a hand someone would bring over plate of food whilst u could chat to other mums and let your other young children play nearby with toys, books or similar. If u had any breastfeeding probs u could ask one of the staff who were or had been breastfeeding mums themselves + had some training i think.Friendly
and no chance of feeling uncomfortable.Perhaps you could look into doing voluntary work somewhere like that? That was at a Surestart centre.

It sounds as if you are already doing much better than the rest of us! Training may help with the self-doubt.

Just feeing heard when I was struggling was what helped me the most though I know that many mums need much more practical help.

(I wondered if that was Hunker's webpage but I was too embarrassed to ask... Thanks Littlelapin!)

Don't start threads criticising and judging other women.

It fucks everyone off and detracts from the actual issues and it's not very bright and it's really, really unkind.
