Toddler eating and refusing meals

My daughter is 20 months old and her eating is a nightmare. She refuses anything then sometimes will eat it for me she seems to only eat pasta for me now I don’t know what to do for her. She’s very active and crazy she has wheetabix and fruit in the morning at lunch it’s a wee small sandwich or toast and dinner it’s full refusal mode but she will try and eat the stones out side 🙈

Does she try and eat anything else that isn't food @Jcw2015?

She puts everything in her mouth

So she's just putting things in her mouth rather than trying to eat non-food items? Sorry if I took your comment about the stones the wrong way Wink

Just wondering which milk she's on and how much she's having in 23 hours as both the type and quality of milk can massively affect appetite.

She drinks Alpro as she has an intolerance, she has a cup in the morning and before bed. She chews on lots of stuff but she looks me dead in the eye and then puts the stones in her mouth 🙈🙈

Ok so I can suggest some things as our DC2 was similar.

First, is she getting enough iron as anaemia can cause loss of appetite.

Then have a read of this guide from the Caroline Walker Trust as it gives you an idea of what they should be eating in a day and very helpfully, it gives suggested portion sizes.

Then I'd do this very simple 18 month progress checkerr*. If it comes back saying that she needs a little support, come back and hopefully we can point you in the right direction Wink
