Breastfeeding journey ended after 14m - how to dry up my milk supply?

My breastfeeding journey has come to an end with my little one at 14months.

We were down to one feed a day in the morning in the last couple of months so my supply is relatively low now. Is there anything I can do/take to dry up my milk supply?

I didn't do anything and ignored the full feeling for a few days and it quickly calmed down, and after around 2 weeks all was fine. Didn't cause me any bother and I didn't need to wear pads after a few days

I The honk I dwindled it down to one feed a day too then just stopped. Can't remember doing anything special. After a couple of weeks my boobs had settled to more or less the size they are now.

How have you been getting in this week @PollyPocket8?

I stopped when my DD was three years so older
i I used savoy cabbage leaves down my bra and also took Sudafed - think it helps to reduce supply

congrats on your feeding journey 💐

I have been doing well thank you for asking. I seem to be a little full but nothing uncomfortable and I really haven’t done anything. Little one hasn’t attempted to feed either so I feel like it was the perfect natural end to our feeding journey.

Cabbage leaves really do help.

Well done on getting to 14 months! That's so good! I think the advice is usually just to hand express a little to relieve any engorgement and let it just take care of itself. The Sudafed tip is interesting. They say don't take decongestants when you are feeding as it could dry up your milk in your ducts. It's probably an untested and not recommended way of winding down though.
