...That I can take paracetamol and ibuprofen while breastfeeding? Just checked Kellymom but in my infected-wisdom-tooth-without-any-pain-to-grow fuzz, I need clarification...

That should have read 'space to grow'. Duh.

paracetamol fine but don't think you can take ibuprofen

Just done a quick search and apparently it is fine, thanks though Rascal.

Ibuprofen is safe to take, checked breastfeeding network website. Try to alternate your doses of ibuprofen and paracetamol to get maximum effect. HTH

I've learnt something new!

I was given paracetamol, ibruprofen and dihydrocodeine from the hospital after having dd who is bf. But according to the NHS website you should avoid Ibruprofen

I took paracetamol and ibruprofen whilst breastfeeding initially for sever after-pains, and a few months later for mastitis.

I took them after giving a breastfeed.

My doctor prescribed ibuprofen for me along with amoxicillin for an ear infection and I'm breastfeeding so it is OK to take
