my 13 wk old will not take the bottle and im at the end of my tether. Im so tired emotionally with it all as ive not had an evening out with dh or by myself. For some reaon hes been waking up more during the night too so im snappy during the day and often spend any spare time i do have catching up on sleep rather then spending time going out with ds1. I just want to be able to have an eveing out with peace of mind that if he wakes up he will take the bottle.Ive tried tommy tippee, advent and now dr browns.

have you tried the closer to nature ones by tommee tippee?

mum2samandalex · 18/04/2008 11:14

yeah he seems to get on better with the tommy tippee ones mainly because he doesnt have to work at it he sort of drips into his mouth but then he gets annoyed as its sometimes too much or too fast. He'd rather cry himself to sleep i think depending on his mood.

nuk and mam ultivent teats are meant to be good for bfers too. and playtex bottles - think you can get them in toys r us.

The NUK teats solved this problem for us. It really sounds like you need some time for yourself. Could you just have some "me" time right after you BF him, even if it is in the middle of the day right after you BF him?
