I have a 17wk bf baby, I'm going to start battle of the bottle with her soon as I need to get her to take EBM and/or formula when I get back to work.

I have a doidy cup and a Tommy Tippee sippy cup thing to try too, but going to try bottles first as I think there is less chance of my precious EBM going on the floor while we practice!

My question is, how do I know which teats I should be using, I know they all have different flow rates? We used TT Closer to Nature with her when she was 4/5wks, she was fine with them then, but went mental when we tried her again at 12wks-ish. They were just the ones that came free with the steriliser, so i presume they were more suitable for a newborn?

the TT website says medium flow for 3+ months - is this ok given that she's never really bottle fed?

Thanks!

Ummm.... I always went with if they are sucking the teat inside out/seem to be struggling/get frustrated etc go for a faster flow teat.

If most of the milk seems to be getting dribbled back out/they choke on it lots go for a slower flow.

very scientific...
