Thought it was blocked duct so squeezed it and it seemed ok. However it is still there and i keep getting painful nip , breast on and off.
Am now wondering if this could be thrush. When it is painful it tends to hurt at beginning of feed but the breast pain can hurt intermittantly through the day.

hi lilyloo does it look like this?

linkhere

i had this twice, read the advice on kellymom, what i did was the 1st time i just left it and it took about 4-6 weeks to go and was painful everytime i fed dd, then next time i got one i boiled a needle, then stuck the needle into the blister, a then it just disapperaed, doen and dusted as soon as it came up.

im not telling you to do this, its just what i did. happened in the same place twice too.

it wasn't as raised as that and the white bit on the top will now come off if picked so it's more like a piece of skin. But the pain still there intermittantly.

well im no expert but if i was me, id pick the skin off, and hope it goes, as once i left a bit of skin on and it sort of reattched its self and became even more painful.

sorry wish i could be more help. do you have a baby cafe near you? you could do with someone to look at it really

I had these in early stages - just left them to resolve themselves. Wouldn't pick ....

I had this too-I think it was thrush, this tends to come with redness also. It wasnt like the blister posted in the link though. I poked at it a bit, thinking it was a blocked duct, which made it worse, so maybe you should get someone to confirm if its thrush (My Gp had no idea, maybe a HV would be more familiar with the symptoms)

i have got hv coming round tom so will ask her to look at it. Thanks it's odd as today it isn't painful at all and the white spot looks to have gone but then it reappears. Thanks
