Does anyone know where to get hold of spare rubber let down cushion for avent manual breastpump?

I've looked on avent website but can't find it and boots etc don't stock them. I have dug out my breastpump which I used with ds 4 years ago for dc2 due any day and would like a new rubber thingy.

any advice appreciated

peanutbear · 06/04/2008 21:45

I think I have some somewhere but you can buy spares from avent

peanutbear · 06/04/2008 21:47

0800 28 90 64 this is there number but I will see if I can find my spare ones I had loads

AttillaTheHan · 06/04/2008 21:48

Nope I mean the rubber funnel that goes in the hard plastic funnel that your breast goes in to. Hope that makes sense.

I've lloked on avent website but unless I'm being totally thick I can't find them.

Thanks for replies...

Let me know if & how you manage to get one - my funnel bit is all mishaped as I put it in the dishwasher with DS1. It still works, but would be more comfy if I could get a new straight one!

DANCESwithaMuffinTop · 06/04/2008 21:51

I lived in permanenet fear of losing that white bit, it was tiny yet vital!

it's called the petal massager?

Ive got 2 covers (the plastic bit that seals them sterilised and can be used as a stand)for the boob end if anyone wants them ffp

AttillaTheHan · 06/04/2008 21:58

I would love to have your spare if you have one and if thats ok loopymumsy. I was not relishing the thought of reusing the old one, seeing as its been sat in our loft for 4 years!

I'll email you now - Thanks

Sorry cargirl didn't see your post. Thanks for the official name, petal massager sounds loads better than rubber funnel thingy!

I would appreciate any spares that people are happy to offer. I can always pass them on to other mumsnetters like anonymama if I get a few...

Thanks so much for all the replies - I bloody love mumsnet

avent can supply them. contact them on website

CarGirl · 06/04/2008 22:27

TBH it may be worth looking on ebay for someone selling one locally, they don't sell for much 2nd hand and then you'll have spares for each bit!
