Hi,
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. My ds is 9 months old and I'm about to go back to work 2 days a week next week.My dp will be looking after ds on these days and, because I've been spectacularly unsuccessful at eliminating the day time breast feeds, I'm in a situation where he's going to have to have at least one bottle a day while I'm not there. The question is, can my dp give breast milk in a bottle while he's out and about or does he have to heat it up or something? and if he has to heat it, how?
sorry, i feel like this is something i ought to know but i'm afraid i don't. he's not had a bottle before (gonna try it out tomorrow..) so i haven't got a clue how all this works.
thanks

Yes,althoguh don't worry if he wont take it.A baby of this age can go all day without a feed. Mine did from 8 mths as i returned to work f/t. They had nothing but water and regular food from 9-5 but breastfed the rest of the time quite frelly.

Mine wouldn't drink it cold, and ds3 wouldn't take it at all for ages!
Dh used a bottle warmer but a jug of hot water does the job just as well. we found the bottle warmer handy for defrosting frozen EBM, otherwise we would just have had a jug as jugs are cheaper!
