Breastfeeding - can I take paracetmol extra?

Got a banging headache - had a rough night and all I can find is paracetmol extra in the house - is it ok - usually only take paracetmol - thanks

i took paracetemol extra when my ds was newborn, by mistake without realising it contained caffeine! might not be a great idea if your baby is very young. i couldn't work out why i didn't feel more tired, until i read the packet. that said, ds did not seem bothered.

Thanks jessiejane - just been out for a walk and it has cleard my head so I don't need the tablets! Ds in 4 months but I am sure he gets a fair bit of caffeine through the endless cups of tea
