I've just hired a medela lactina from the maternity unit and it doesnt seem any more powerful than my electric avent one!

Have I just wasted 55 quid?

I bought mine for £50 of ebay!

it should be more powerful. I would contact medela and they might exchange it or have it checked.. Medela contact details are;
