well i bought my first 'pregnancy and baby' mag in many years the other day. just to refresh my ememory about it all.

pages and pages of formula ads. obviously all follow on ones.

but two ads for 'soft toy' offers from cow and gate and aptimil. aimed at mums-to-be.

i am a bit over it tbh.

go on, the cow is really cute
(still bf here at almost a year so I wasn't swayed by the cow!)

make sure you register on boots, tesco, sains etc so they send you all the money off coupons

i was tempted by the cow, but they wil lcarry on sending me junk.

i think totoally shocked and surprised covers it moondog. mind you i spent a while swearing and shaking. lol.

have discovered sea-bands for morning sickness, they seem to be working. not sure if its all in my mind though.

got docs appointment in 3 weeks, wont seem real until the scan though.

I've got the cow and am an exclusive bf and newly trained peer supporter. But i do agree it sends the wrong message.

I don't know if you've noticed but they also send out branded tapes, dating disks and filofax covers to midwives and HV which i find allot more . (There are bf branded alternatives)
