is this the worse bf advice ever or what?

It is inaccurate and unsupportive but sadly there are a lot of contenders for the worst advice ever.

Would be interesting to know how the mother works it out, that frequent feeding (which obv uses newly-made milk each time) make the milk 'no good'.....perhaps your friend can ask her?

SOunds like the kind of "elpful" advise my non-bfeeding mil gave me...There's a lot of it about!

My mother said that my milk was poor quality, hence why DD didn't sleep. Think she thought I should have been lactating cream. Stay supportive, it's hard when you're battling such old fashioned opinions. Thankfully I was strong enough to ignore my mother but even if you're totally confident in what you're doing, it can make you question yourself.

Oh good god, I am so thankful that my mum supported me to BF.
