Baby bottle feeding nightmare

Ugh! Help or advice needed! My 11week old, 5 weeks corrected (6 weeks early), is a NIGHTMARE feeder! I breastfed up until she was 3 weeks old, 2 weeks in nicu and 1week at home, switched to formula and used MAM bottles. I noticed clicking and not having a good latch (lips sucked in) on the bottle so I got her tongue checked and she had a mild tongue tie so they cut it.
This was probably 5 or so weeks ago, I did the oral exercises and what have you, but honestly it’s getting worse and worse! She “seems” to be latching as her lips are wrapped around the teat now, sometimes the bottom lol still goes in, but MY GOD she clicks and comes off every second throughout the feed!! It’s very annoying for us both! I’ve tried multiple bottles now and I’ve wasted so much money.. I want to rip my hair out. Her wind is awful because of the unlatching and clicks.
When I use my thumb, placed nail down she has a right good latch, suckling 10/10 but when it comes to a teat it’s absolutely dreadful lol.
I’ve tried 5 different styles of bottles/teats, she won’t latch on any really and has the same effect.
Please any advice is welcome, we do one night feed now, 7/8pm last bottle then up around 3/4am and I dread it because it’s an absolute battle to get her latched without waking herself up properly because she’s getting upset.
I am still doing her oral exercises as much as I can, I’m trying to get her tongue strong with her “not so new” tongue movement.
I don’t get how she can latch on to my thumb/fingers but not a teat.

Sounds like tongue tie has re attached. Does happen sometimes

So def check again

The clicking noise is usually a give a way

I thought that but I’ve checked her tongue underneath and it doesn’t seem like it has? 😩 no tie from what I can see anyway!

Might need to change the flow speed rather than the teat?

If only it was that easy to spot @Xxshannyxx12 Wink

I agree that it could possibly have reattached although there may be a further tie that was previously missed.

Sounds like you need a Tongue Tie Practitioner, especially as she's still clicking Flowers
