and my daughter is 1 and I've never breastfed. Theres not a lot but it's still there. I bottlefed as soon as she was born and they never gave me anything to dry it up. Is this normal?

Have you asked GP about hormone levels?

I can still squeeze a couple of drops out but I fed both of mine for a combined time of 39 months and gave up over a year ago.

To have not breastfed at all though and still have milk after a year is surprising.

Actually saying that, even before I had kids when I was on the pill, I could squeeze 'milk' out of my boobs and I did think that was strange.

I'm not sure if it'snormal, but I have heard that once you've had a baby, theoretically you can breast feed again at any time. A friend of mine experienced her milk "comming in" when her sister, who she is very close to had a baby.

Forgot to say that yes, I have almost had let down when hearing babies cry!I didn't know that fact Lynette. I guess though that years ago, wet nurses weren't always feeding their own babies and the babies they were looking after?
