I am happy to feed her in the morning and night makeing excuses that she is "still a baby" but want to stop durign the day. I find that id i am out it is ok i can offer food snacks juice and milk in a bottle which she eventually take and spit out, but when i am home it's jump on my lap cry throw herself on the ground the tears stream. My HV was disgusted that i am still bf after 1 as i had plans to stop. Why i want to stop.... summer i want my boobs, i am away for the DAY 29th march and i need to leave her, and because i want to x any advice would be great thanks

I just offered milk in a bottle when I didn't want to feed mine

Not sure why your HV was disgusted, it's none of her business and there is nothing wrong with continuing to bf if you want to

Are you offering cows milk? Are you warming it up?

Distraction and offering other drinks and snacks.

tell your hv that the WHO recommend it for 2 years. It awful that she said that.

Don't go to the hv anymore. I only saw one once this time and my son is almost a year.

Distraction, go out at the time she used to feed if poss.

My dd2 has just turned 1 and I am hoping to stop soon - really want my boobs back for summer - and hopefully they might even be the same size again!

I try to distract her with other things in the day but I want to stop the bedtime/morning feeds soon too and the occasional through the night feed!
