10month old nursing strike, breasts not full

My 10.5 month old hasn't been fussed on breastfeeding since last week. He had a cold. He's been latching on then nipping me with his teeth.

He usually fed AM and bedtime. Plus 1 or 2 feeds at nap times on the 4 days I'm at home. He's barely fed since last week. If he has it's just been one breast. He fed Sunday night and yesterday morning. Nothing since. Everytime I try to latch him on he does and then bites. Clearly not interested.

He's never had a bottle. This morning I gave him a cup of ready made formula and he guzzled it.

However my breasts feel empty. Zero engorgement or even feeling full. Before if I was late for a feed my boobs would be ready to burst. Has he been taking less and less over time? Is he ready to stop?

I don't want to pump to build or maintain my supply. Thought I was maybe ready to stop feeding but I feel sad now

Does sound like he's ready to stop, but if you feel like you want to continue then keep trying now and then to see if he changes, as long as hes not getting annoyed by it.
1 pumping session a day probably won't increase your supply much.

My son did this but just for his bedtime feed at that age. He still fed throughout the night but barely anything in the day. Would bite instead. I continued to pump once he had gone to bed and just mixed the milk into his porridge in the morning but over the following couple of months the amount I could get dwindled to nothing. And when we finally stopped the night feeds at 14 months (which had 2 or 3 a night up to then) I had no full feeling at all. Don't think he had been getting much out for quite a while.

@Scramble1805 thanks for replying.
He hasn't fed at night in 4-6 weeks. Moved him from my bed to his own cot and since that he sleeps through most nights.
He started nursery 2 weeks ago. Up until then he was eating 3 meals at home, no snacks. He seems to be eating a lot of food and snacks at nursery so maybe he was too full to want milk.

I'm afraid that if he does want to feed again and there is too little milk he will bite.

Ah it's an emotional rollercoaster. On one hand I do want to stop as the morning feed was taking so much time on busy mornings before work. However I love the morning feed on weekends. As I would've taken him in to my bed at 6am, he'd feed and wed usually go back to sleep for another hour or so
