Thrush & breastfeeding while out

Thank you in advance to whoever takes the time to read this! It’s a bit all over the place and long lol, I’m an anxious mess

So DD2 (4 week old) and I have thrush, I’m on Daktarin (miconazole) and she is on Nystatin. I’ve mainly been at home so far while having thrush, but next week on Thursday I’m going to a postpartum mental health group thing. It’s from 10-1, so within that 3 hours she will definitely want/need boob. My issues with this:
• breastfeeding is still a hit and miss, with most feedings being very painful on latching (I think and I’m hoping it’s due to the thrush and not just latch)
• I don’t know how to breastfeed her in a private way (I choose to cover up) and then be able to apply the Daktarin after on my nipples without showing everyone lol unless they are able to provide a room? I’m just so nervous about this lol. I have a nursing cover but I’m not confident using it and I haven’t used it much as I still feel like I need to be watching my baby for like 80% of the feed lol, it somehow helps me get through the feeds
• the group is set up in a way where babies and toddlers have to be in a crèche (separate ones for bubs and toddlers) - so my (rather sensitive/anxious) 3 year old DD1 will have to be in one room (don’t know how that will go lol), DD2 in another, and me and all the other mums in one room. Of course we can go to the crèches to settle/feed/change our babies if needed but I’m just getting so anxious about it all, especially because breastfeeding is still painful for me and the thrush treatment.

I’ve had her latch assessed and it looks good but ofc it’s more about how it feels. Generally after 20-30 seconds it isn’t as painful and sometimes it’s pain-free, just strong tugging. But I’m not established yet, some feeds are still painful. And also the thrush is playing a part in the pain.
I’ve been using Daktarin for 3 days and still no improvement in pain when she latches, but my boobs burn less inside after feeds so there must be some progress.

I don’t actually know what I’m asking for - maybe someone to give me a bit of confidence and hope that the thrush gets better? And to reassure me it’s not forever lol. ive never made it this far exclusively breastfeeding (dd1 was combi fed, but breastfeeding was with nipple shields), this time around it’s straight from the boob so it’s been a new experience and is still new). Pls tell me it gets easier lol!

thank you so much 😭❤️

I feel I could have wrote this myself !!
Currently have nipple thrush and was put on the wrong medication for 6 days now I’m a further 6 days on micronazole cream.
has feeding improved with you and little one?
the burning pain is getting less like you said so I’m hoping it’s doing something ! But feeding can be so painful 😓
