Really, really don't want to stop Bf as he's only 8 months and still needs it most of the time - he's never had a bottle.
Yesterday I was in bed with a chest infection, felt really bad, am a little bit better today but scared in case the ABs don't work properly and I need to take stronger ones.
The doc who came out said we're limited in what we can give, if you're Bfing, but the amoxy will either work or it won't

just want to have a contingency plan in place, I never expected this - intending to Bf till 18months at least, or however long he wants to.

Please advise, I know others must have been in this situation - do I pump and dump, as it were, to keep up supply? Then continue after the medicine has passed out of my system?

TIA

Have you spoken to LLL or BFN?
both have up to date specialist advice on what drugs can and can't be safely taken and how to cope while you are on medication

I am afraid GPs often have little clue about this and will just advise you stop because they want to be on the safe side
