since a forced separation at weekend dd4 has done without the last feed at night.
She cries and I have told her they are broke the hospital broke them and she seems to have accepted this.

She has asked if I am better and if my boobies are better but seems ok about it.
My boobs feel ok not engorged will the milk just stop?

They do not leak but there is still milk there.
Do I just wait?

Your boobs won't take that long to feel 'empty', should only take a day or two if I remember.
I bf dd1 until 2, morning & night, but it eventually trailled off, supringsly easily. DD2 was a different matter, I stopped at 7 mnths, due to her biting, (incredibly open sores on both nipples) They felt engorged and i was sure I'd end up with mastitis, I didn't though, I expresssed just a little for about a week, just to get the full ness off (they were uncomfortable, though not painful).
Good for you about sucessfully stopping and for her sleeping through
(I still miss it though!!baby snuggles and falling asleep at boob, nothing better!!)

Sorry, nothing constructive to add just love the way you told her your boobs were broke

we cuddled up in my bed tonight til she went to sleep and then put her in her bed asleep.
She asked again just the once then gave me big kiss before going to sleep.
Getting lots of cuddles but not the same she is 2.5 btw and before I went into hospital I was still giving in some mornings too.
