Reflux - support & help please?!

My little boy is 9 months next week. He has had reflux from around 5 weeks old.
Everyone has told me - it gets better when they start to sit up, it gets better when they walk.
to give you a bit of background ..
he’s fairly happy in himself. When he vomits he doesn’t cry or get upset. In the beginning he was super stiff and didn’t sleep all that well and was quite an irate baby. Nowadays he’s pretty happy as a whole.
he still has never slept through and wakes maybe every 4 hours or so.
he’s on three solid meals a day and I try to give him risotto and pasta often to help “weigh” down the food.
he brings up Ella’s pouch’s as they are still liquidy.
he has no other symptoms not rash, no runny poos, no mucus in poo. He is just sick at least 10/20 times per day.
he’s been on aptamil pepti (was so thin his reflux was worse) hipp, aptamil, aptamil comfort and aptamil anti reflux.
hes never been on meds as I don’t think the sick overly bothers him during the day not sure if he gets pain at night and this is why he wakes?
he had a tongue tie which we had resolved early on, he’s had cranial oesteopathy and been on carobel thickener when on normal milk to no success
it’s really mentally affecting me and I’m struggling to work out if he will ever stop being a sick kid.
it kills me to think I’m doing something wrong?!
cmpa has also been mentioned but we trialed on aptamil pepti and dairy free diet for 4 weeks and I’d say I never seen a change in the amount of vomiting.
i feel like I’m the only person this has happened to as no one I know can relate?! But I know that’s not the case.
any words of support of mums who have came out the other side or any guidance would be appreciated
i doubt myself if it is just “reflux” and a weak stomach muscle or if there is something else going on x

No experience of vomiting @Kim2021 but it does sound like a trial of meds for him might be worthwhile, even if it's just to help you cope Flowers

So sorry to hear you’re going through this. Please consider this support to push the GP for more help. This sounds like a lot, especially for an older weaning baby.

Another case study of someone whose baby stopped icking so much, sorry probably not much help: DD was a very sicky baby (every feed, every burp, every time you picked her up etc.). Muslins everywhere. However, it did start getting better after 6 months, especially once she could sit up strongly, basically stopping by 12 months. By 9 months she wasn’t vomiting anything like 10-20 times a day - once or twice? At 19 months she’s still extra susceptible to vomiting when ill, but those days mostly seem in the past.

Omeprazole on prescription from doctor helped with discomfort. Spacing meals and snacks. Not giving drinks at same time as food. Hypervigilance about how much they had eaten. Calorie dense foods, so could get same calories in a smaller portion ( on advice from dietician).
A dummy to suck at the end of a meal. Pretty soon they regulated it themselves and just stopped eating when they felt full enough and the episodes of vomiting decreased from several times a day to every few weeks.
They do become strangely used to it and position themselves so they don't get covered in vomit, and are quite calm about it.
I worried myself silly at first though, as you would.
