Hi
I am a FTM and have a 12.5 week old. She's on kendamil formula and feeds 5.5 ounces every 3 hours between 8.30am when she wakes up until 9pm when I put her down for bed.

I established a night routine very quickly with her and she's in bed at 9 with the same routine every night from around 7 weeks. Sleep sack, last bottles, dark room and white noise machine. She knows it's night time.

She sleeps from 9.30/10 until 8am every night without waking for a feed. She's gained 4 pounds since she was born and no concerns about her weight. She was born via c section on the smaller side of 6 pounds 2 ounces but HV isn't concerned about her weight.

Kendamil suggest 5 feeds a day and she finishes all 5 ounces sometimes more every 3 hours. I really want to enjoy this sleep but I'm scared I'm starving her and she should be waking up for feeds, every other person I speak to has sleep deprived nights and as grateful as I am that I don't, I'm scared that I'm doing something wrong..

If her weight is fine and urine output is fine, I’d keep going as you are. The suggested amounts on the formula packet are only suggested - they won’t apply to every baby. I think you’re doing a good job!

i have a 5 month old who was also 6lb at birth, now she is around 13lbs. She has 4-5oz every 1.5-2.5 hours during the day and sleeps overnight. It’s just what she does - I have bo idea if she’s having the right amounts for her weight/age according to the formula company, but it’s working for her regardless!

Sounds like you're doing a fantastic job, if she is gaining weight and has plenty of wet and dirty nappy's then all sounds well!

If weight is fine and enough wet nappies all is fine. Mine started sleeping through with no night feeds around that age, I was worried to start with but it was just her natural progression. She will wake if she’s hungry. Enjoy the sleep woman!

I have 4 DC, eldest FF rest breastfed.

They were all sleeping through by 7-12 weeks.
