trying to conceive while breastfeeding

We are trying for no 2 but i read that while nursing prolactin stops you from getting pregnant.Is it true?

Kyla still feeds at night.although i must say that in the last 4 or 5 days i been too lazy to get up and let her do. but in the last 2 weeks i would make a point of not feeding her and get up and rock her to sleep or give her baby rice or else but not the breast.i got in my silly brain (cos read it on internet) that if u feed at night it supresses ov because of prolactin. and midwive and health visitor deny it. so dont know what to think and going mad!!
