Getting myself confused over timing of feeds...

do you start the countdown (gap between/) until the next feed from the START of a feed or the END of a feed before the next?

to asking this but I am no doubt not thinking straight atm.

Start of one to start of next I believe.

Start to start but never found this particularly helpful. I found number of feeds a day + the usual length of time when ds was not feeding a more useful guide

Matha, it's always from the start of the feed....but gaps between feeds are not really relevant or helpful. If you are breastfeeding, especially, the baby needs to be fed according to his cues, not the clock (actually, that applies to formula feeding, too!).
