Question for those of you who just give a bedtime BF...

Do you alternate boobs every day or do you just feed from one side?

I think this might be where I'm heading but I'm just wondering how to do it.

Both boobs each night but it is becoming more and more of a "token" feed with me going "hurry up! quick!". She will sometimes be pacified with cuddling them instead! Depends on age of child I guess and how much it is actual nursing/comfort.

For the past year or so DS has always has the right one followed by the left one, even if he all he has is a couple of sips. Have no idea why...but have been happy to let DS control his feeding as he is probably better at telling which boob has more/less milk, faster let down etc than I am

Both boobs - wonder why I hadn't thought of that. Seems obvious now! Thanks. He's only 8 mo so does need food rather than just comfort.
