5-week-old bf baby: Should I go back to my coffee fix?

Does anyone know whether caffeine turns up in breast milk?

I had a real bad time trying to settle my 5-week-old baby a week or so ago after I had had a very strong coffee during the day and panicked that the caffeine was somehow getting into my milk and keeping her awake. I am now paranoid about drinking anything other than one or two cups of tea a day.

I stopped drinking coffee while I was pregnant, so perhaps she doesn't like the taste?

While we are at it does anyone know if anything else you eat/drink gets into your milk?

Thanks.

DS reacted badly to coffee and chocolate (grrr) when small and bfing. I introduced them gradually as he got older and all was fine
